What's included
Straightforward stripping and prep so your walls are ready for a new look. Same careful approach and clear pricing you expect from Inner West Colour.
Adhesive and residue (optional)
Where paste leaves sticky or shiny patches, we can seal them with B-I-N primer so you are not painting straight over residue that will fail later, quoted as an option when your walls need it.
Surfaces protected
Floors, skirting, and nearby joinery covered and masked so strip water and debris stay controlled.
Walls prepped for paint
Sanding and spot filling where the strip leaves minor damage, so the wall is flat and ready for primer and colour, or for your painter to take over.
Tidy, professional handover
Rubbish bagged, work area vacuumed and left in a state you can live with until the next trade or coat.
Clear scope on the quote
$450 with the scope spelled out before work starts. If the job grows (extra rooms, heavy vinyl), we agree changes before going ahead.
Get the walls paint-ready
Prepare walls for painting with Zinsser B-I-N, +$350
For a 16 m² room. After stripping, I seal adhesive residue and porous damage with Zinsser B-I-N shellac primer so your new paint grips properly and lasts. No lingering paste failures, no bleed-through, just a solid base ready for colour. Ask about B-I-N prep when you call.

In 2001, I started painting my aunt's facade. That single project quickly escalated when her neighbor, and soon the whole neighborhood, asked me to do the same for them. I had no formal training back then, but I learned fast that a great finish lives or dies in the preparation.
You can paint a room in a day with two thin coats, and it will look fine for twelve months. Or, you can take two days, apply three proper coats, and deliver a finish that holds up for five years or more.
